Meet Bryan Woodell

Bryan is a native of Charlotte, NC.    He resides in Mint Hill with his beautiful wife Robin and two children, Carson (18) and Savannah (16).   His family has been an active part of the Mint Hill community for some time.  Before he joined FCA, Bryan spent the last 14 years in financial services, 5 years as an agent and 9 years as an agency director.  Though the majority of Bryan’s career has been in financial services, he has always had a love of and involvement in sports ranging from college football to community softball and golf games.  Bryan loves to travel, have large family gatherings, and teach Sunday school in his church.

Throughout his life, Bryan has felt a deep desire to do kingdom work.  Until recently, he had done so by actively teaching Sunday School and participating in mission trips and other such activities.  It was 2 years ago, through specific life events, that Bryan felt a very poignant call to full-time ministry.  The question was “where”.   As time passed, it was put on his heart that something in the realm of youth, sports, and ministry was really his calling.  At the same time, he began praying with a friend who was feeling a similar calling in a ministry involving sports and youth. Through God’s providence, he was introduced to a gentleman connected with FCA shortly after.  And the rest is history!

In his words, Bryan feels that FCA provided him the perfect opportunity to impact youth through sports, while having a chance to work with their leaders (coaches).  It is this work with coaches that is just one more step in helping to equip and disciple our youth to be followers and examples of Jesus Christ.
